Okay, a spoof is NOT real :) By Ray Hanania

Current mood: surprised
Category: Dreams and the Supernatural

Okay folks, Yisrael Campbell did not attack me on stage and I did not throw him to the ground    ... it was staged ... And, we did not have 38 casualties at my wedding either (although it is a funny line) ... Oh, and Hamas and Ibrahim Haniyeh did not denounce the Israeli-Palestinian Comedy Tour ...

Campbell is actually a very good person ... maybe even PM Haniyeh has some good aspects, too, and even a sense of humor (hopefully)

It is amazing to me how many people want to believe that the spoof video we made at the Tzavta theater is real, rather than showing the same kind of skepticism that people express for almost every other short and fast video on YouTube ...

The fourth generation of the spoof is online and it is funny ... it's what people expect but what they discover when they go further is that Palestinians and Israelis really do get along. We like each other, despite the politics and the policies and the tragedies and the conflicts ... we're not in control of anything. We're all victims of a handful of people on both sides who are making the decisions. So, we try to have fun, keep our spirits up and give strength to those who need it.

Enjoy the spoofs ... but please, don't take them seriously. They are not real ...
