Update on Israeli-Palestinian Comedy Tour By David Lewis

Check out http://www.ipcomedytour.com  and see the press clippings about the incredible comedy shows that took place, organized by Comedy for Peace‚s, Ray Hanania, and Israeli comedian Charley Warady.  What they did - without any help from yours truly - is organize a series of shows that grew in both scale and number as the tour went on.  All the shows were sold out and the reactions were exactly what Ray and I always hoped for when we began our efforts.  Charley and the brave Israeli comedians he brought on board made those initial dreams come true.  And make sure to go to the PRESS page which has links to stories on CNN and ABC News, the Chicago Tribune, Haaretz, Jerusalem Post, Arab News, Jordan Times, Middle East Times, etc.
 
The results of these performances continue to emerge.  Ray tells me that they are returning for more shows in Israel and are also being asked to perform elsewhere in the Middle East.  They are also talking about bringing the show to the US.  A number of foundations have expressed interest in supporting The I-P Tour and - most importantly - all of this has helped in some small way to demonstrate "If we can laugh together we can live together.™"
